Winter in Sydney is starting to get a little too gloomy so my best friends and I decided to go on a road trip to Port Stephens, where it's more sunnier up North. All of us just wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and we were meaning to travel together. Unfortunately due to time and financial constraints, a road trip sounded like a great idea. We rented a car and drove up to Port Stephens bright and early in the morning. Getting there takes about 6 hours (with a couple of rest stops in between) by car so it was not too bad. The car ride was filled with lots of singing, laughter and interesting chats. I discovered that Franco can impersonate Shakira's voice when her song came on! Finding out that your friends have those secret talents it's just amazing!

Port Stephens is such a beautiful town. It's so peaceful, laid back, the people there were all so lovely! My friends and I booked a beach side pad via Airbnb and just imagine stepping out to the patio and you'll have the view of the ocean. That's pure bliss. Our Airbnb hosts gave us a few tips on which secret beaches to go as we have mentioned that we are avid beach-goers! The next couple of days in Port Stephens was filled beach hopping. I forgot to add that Port Stephens is famous for its unspoilt beaches, beautiful bay and scenic waterways. It is also the dolphin-watching capital of Australia. After a day of beach hopping, we took an invigorating hike up to the summit of Tomaree Head to catch the sunset. Just... STUNNING.

Traveling, sharing and capturing amazing moments and memories with your loved ones that is the best feeling ever. Just go outside, start walking and keep walking until you no longer know the road like the palm of your hand, because we walk the same roads day in and out and we cease to see. Just keep going, sit down if you like. And be. Just be, whatever you are with whatever you have, and realize that that is enough to be happy.

There's a whole world out there, right outside your window. You'd be a fool to miss it. ;)

Sprinkling sunshine and sending positive vibes your way.
