Ganbanyoku - Japanese Holistic Healing Therapy

( )
"Wellness" - the active pursuit of health and well-being through lifestyle choices - does seem like an airy-fairy concept. I got to admit... after implementing wellness into my life, by just changing my lifestyle and making better choices. I'm a creature of habit and relatively product loyal.

Hence my love for Ganbanyoku, also known as "Rock Bathing" in Japanese. It uses precious magma stones from Japan to heat the body from the outside in. The heated stones naturally release Far Infrared Rays and negative ions to speed up the release of toxins through perspiration. When you lay on the stone, your body's acupressure points will be stimulated which help to alleviate joint, muscular and nerve pain. A 60-minute session helps to detox and rejuvenate, at an affordable price of $20/hr.

The origin of Ganbanyoku dates back centuries. It traces back to the Tamagawa natural hot sprices located in the Akita Prefecture, in Japan, where people with injuries and illnesses have cured themselves by lying on the rocks heated by the natural hot springs.

Benefits of Ganbanyoku

I visit Ganbanyoku for wellness and healing. After a few sessions my habits have changed for the better and I'm consequently more mindful of my physical and mental condition. Just have fun, see wellness as a reward, not punishment. At the end of the day, wellness is not a scary status symbol or a fad that you will forget in a few months. I'm recommending this to you because I authentically believe in it, and benefit from it.

Ganbanyoku uses Tensho Seki stones, they are embedded in the form of comfortable, smooth slab beds, which are heated 24 hours.
